Stored on your device
Your accounts, positions, trade history, dividends, goals, rules and notes are stored on your iPhone.
Market data
To fetch option chains and prices, the app sends the ticker symbol and the date to our server, with your App Store subscription receipt so the server can confirm you subscribe. Our server requests the data from Alpha Vantage, our market-data provider, using only the ticker, the date and the kind of data wanted; your receipt is not passed on. Your positions and balances are never sent.
Broker access
Broker connections are handled by SnapTrade. You authenticate directly with your broker; we never see your login credentials. Access is read-only.
Subscriptions
Apple processes purchases. We keep your subscription’s transaction ID linked to an opaque connection ID so a reinstall finds your broker connection again, and so one receipt cannot be reused to obtain data for free. It is not linked to your portfolio and is never used for marketing. Broker data passes through our server on its way to your phone and is not stored there.
Diagnostics
Diagnostic reports are composed by you and sent from your own email. Broker account numbers, connection identifiers and access tokens are removed before the report is composed.
Deleting your data
Before uninstalling, use Settings → Disconnect all brokers and delete my connection login. That removes your connection at SnapTrade and the link between your subscription and that connection. Uninstalling then removes everything stored on the phone.
This website
No cookies or analytics. Fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address.

Wheelwright is not intended for anyone under thirteen.
